ryman sth '16-'17
« on: May 17, 2016, 05:25:31 pm »
from their web page:

Ryman South will also feature two clubs new to the league, Southern Counties East League champions Greenwich Borough and Godalming Town, switched sideways from the Evo-Stik League Southern's Central Division after the Surrey outfit's tenth-placed finish in April.

After dropping out of the Ryman in 2014, Horsham are back as Southern Combination Football League champions, along with relegated Lewes and Cray Wanderers, their switch south and sideways making up the numbers in Ryman South.

Ryman South
Carshalton Athletic, Chatham Town, Chipstead, Corinthian-Casuals, Cray Wanderers, Dorking Wanderers, East Grinstead Town, Faversham Town, Godalming Town, Greenwich Borough, Guernsey, Hastings United, Herne Bay, Horsham, Hythe Town, Lewes, Molesey, Ramsgate, Sittingbourne, South Park, Three Bridges, Tooting & Mitcham United, Walton Casuals and Whyteleafe.

Will be a tough season to get promoted again. Looking at the teams,Lewes will look to bounce up again,Faversham won't want the disappointment of being the bridesmaid  again and Greenwich Borough  (who basically splashed the cash last year to get promoted) will be there or thereabouts.
Those are  my predictions! 8)
Watch them all prove me wrong! :D

Basically,he states it will be tough next year,Greenwich Borough have a bigger wage bill than most of the league,Lewes will spend money, Horsham is a horrible place to go,Cray Wanderers have got money,as well as all the other "also rans" from last year,Hythe Faversham, Hastings etc all being in the mix.
All last years squad have agreed to stay on and the club will not break the bank to sign any new players ,if needed(typical Jock with money ;D)
Eight players are doing fitness training already!!(official start is 25/6)
Hope it helps.

Or is Jim dragging out excuses this early if we don't at least get into the play-offs and without a ball being kicked in anger!!!
