Saturday's game
« on: August 19, 2016, 11:28:36 am »
Good luck to the Rams on Sat. Could be a tough game as the Rams have a hard time in PSFs at least against "Kent League" teams ;) Needless to say, another tough round the next round after that (if they get through).

PS: See on the main web page preview, it is courtesy of Martin Able. Is he still doing bits for the club?? Wish he would be able to get access to the web page, at least he kept it well up-to-date and good reports. Twist his arm someone :-*

Made hard work at that! Why play just one up front? See the Blair game was a draw. Whyteleafe should win the replay. Your second favourite team lost again John ;)

Oh, P-- poor attendance. Good job the Rams won, to pay the bills (a bit anyway)

Poor game, spoilt by the wind that blew around the park. Suppose that's the problem with living near the coast!  Poor attendance due do the fact that 1) Erith don't get anybody to watch them at their home games, let alone travel  away to see them and 2) everyone else is probably indoors watching the Olympics  ;D
Onwards and upwards.

Poor game Bill, yes the very high wind and dry pitch didn't help, we need to be a lot better to progress far in this cup.  Taylor was on his own again as he was in the previous game, very boring to watch I'm sorry to say, but ha it's a bit extra money for the club.

Bill my second fav team is RFC U21's, now if you mean MFC lost again then I'm a happy bunny ;D

but they jump up a notch on goal average!!!
err - checking their table - that's weird they lost, but the teams below them drew, so how does that work???

Whyteleaf it is. Sittingbourne must have collapsed second half. See in premier league a match got abandoned, hope no-one hurt.

No one injured Bill. Floodlight failure at Needham Market v  Canvey Island! :o
Whyteleafe will be tough. Need to get the likes of Pully and others fit. Can't be doing with Taylor playing up front on his own! That's the sort of thing you do when you play away at the league leaders, not home games!

I notice that Alfie Paxman scored a hat trick for the U21's on Monday, so he's not injured so why aren't  Jim/Danny not letting him start a game.  The lad will get fed up and leave.
