Quite frankly,the FA should grow a pair and tell these people where to shove this fine.
The wearing of a poppy is not a political statement.It is an act of remembrance,remembering those people,not only in the 2 wars,but every other conflict, who paid the ultimate sacrifice. In fact,if it wasn't for them,we'd all be speaking German  and watching the Bundesliga.
Everyone knows FIFA is corrupt,from those charlatans Sept Blatter and Platini down and for the likes of them to pontificate from a great height really sticks in my throat!
Just look at the likes of Jack Warner(no not that one!)and the rigging of Qatar and Russia for World Cup venues.
What really is galling,is the fact that the sum being bandied around is greater than what was dished out to the Argies for their "Malvinas" banner before the World Cup.
If it means being deducted points,then so be it. There'll always be another time. It isn't if we do any good in the tournaments anyway!
We should never forget.
