I saw that as well but upon looking at their website,it was a Gills ""Youth Team XI" they played!
I doubt if they would have played their 1sts,as I notice that the Gills are putting out 2 sides against Bromley and Faversham in friendlies tonight! :o

Be interested to see what sort of team Bromley bring down on Tuesday night,as they are supposed to be playing Crystal Palace the same night at home!
Don't want a bunch of kids turning up,as it could be a bit of a mis-match. Would be nice to see some 1st teamers,as it'll give the chance for the Rams to up their game. 8)

At least the following Tuesday will give the team a "work out" as they'll be away to our old friends down the A258, "Ramsgate Old Boys",better known as Deal Town! ;D

Talking of Deal,I noticed that Dean Hill has hung his boots up and is now on the management team. Not good enough for us but........
Good luck to him.Always rated him as a player and manager

Looks like I got my wish,as the Rams website says it will be a mixture of 1st teamers and "development " players,(which I can only presume  are the equivalent of our U23s) turning out tonight.
Even stated this on their website as well!
Will be interested to see if there are any new faces on display.

Didn't upset me last night ;D
Some good play by all the team, against a fairly physical opposition.I know it was only a friendly but some of the footy played was a pleasure to watch. Let's hope this carries on with them, when they get down to the serious stuff in the league.
Another test on Saturday, when Folkestone turn up. Let's just hope Alfie doesn't get to see much of the ball!  ;)

Good win today against a poor Folkestone side. Some great moves by the team in Red.  Felt sorry for Alfie as his team mates didn't really play to his strengths.

I wouldn't call Folkestone poor. It was a case of the Rams being very good ;)
Very impressed with new boy(ex TOTS),who looks like he could get some goals this year. Their loss is our gain ;D
Good crowd as well(sort of the average we see for a league game)
Got to agree about Alfie. It reminded me of the new boy at school and the main bloke in the team would only pass to his mates! ::)
That'll need to change, otherwise Alfie will be back here otherwise!
