''.....That'll need to change, otherwise Alfie will be back here otherwise!''

couldn't afford him now, on contract for one year with options

B*gger!! Oh well,it was good to dream :( :'(

If it don't work out for Alfie at F/stone MFC could go for him and buy his contract as they have lots of money to spend on players.............well they don't spend much on the ground (apart from the pitch)

Would he want to go and join his brother at TOTS!? :-\

Anyway,it's down the A258 tomorrow night to see the "Old Boys" play the Reds. Lets hope for another good result (and that it's not to bl**dy hot either! ;D )

I was sweating like "A Glassblowers A*se" on Saturday, just watching the game! ;D

Good game tonight,considering the heat!
Quite a few Rams supporters in the crowd.  Two well taken goals by Lightfoot, the 1st a great free kick into the top corner.
Dicko was superb. Didn't play him in the middle  but  " left sided centre half",if there is such a position. Don't think he was beaten in the air all game! ;D
Game petered out a bit with subs for both sides coming on,upsetting the rthymn.
All in all a good work out for the team.
Chips and cold beer are to be recommended at Deal ;D

And unbeaten so far this season.  Not tried the beer but the chips with plenty of Vinegar are great.  Dicko could be a good find, some of his passing as well as his heading ability.....Looking good for promotion perhaps??????

Didn’t anyone tell B & P that this was a friendly game, and, also tell the Ref that using an arm to knock an opponent off the ball and being the last man is a Red card.

Not complaining about the result but just the way it was achieved.

I saw the Rams gate man this morning, he said there were 119 at Southwood on Saturday.

Agreed.Didn't really play the game as a "friendly".  From why I was sitting, you would have though that they were playing in a relegation/promotion battle and they had to win the game at any cost,by foul means or fair ::)
Good luck to anyone who plays them in the league. I could see plenty of cards/sending offs in their games! :o
