A case of "After the Lords Mayors' show",which was to be expected, considering they played Tuesday night. A crowd roughly about a quarter of Tuesdays(and it would have been smaller, had it not been bolstered by a contingent of vociferous Italian students from Churchill House) Must admit it made me smile when they did the Poznan!

Somebody hadn't told Canterbury it was a friendly, because for the opening 20 mins or so,some of the tackles and the way they moaned at the ref(even more than Jim

),you would have thought it was a league game.
Took the lead after 30 mins with a well worked, well taken goal from Pully.Second half, usual swapping with subs coming and going.
A quarter of an hour from the end, they equalised with a penalty, given by the ref(who must have been the only person in the ground to have seen what went on!)
Must say, wasnt impressed by the man in black tonight, who seemed to miss certain things and made some strange decisions!
Lets hope we don't get him down here again in a hurry!
Lets see what happens Tuesday night against Ashford(who although a league below, have some Ryman standard payers and will provide a stern test)
