Went to watch Herne Bay,how shite are they, no defence, no midfield, the new keeper looks good though.
-
I claim my prize!
Had a look at the squad pictures and W. J-C isn't there!
I see he scored two for Punjab today in their 5-0 win ::)
Found his true level,or if you give him game time,he will produce the goods?
-
err, who keeps digging at me being blue coat?? ;) ;)
-
Jack 'Retired' last time at the Bay and then on to play for C/bury, before returning to the Bay.
It either M/gate or Herne Bay on Sat.
-
So Saturday comes round again!
Where are we off to? I might give the Bay a visit tomorrow. Looks like it's been a bit of week for them ,what with their keeper hanging his boots up and the predicted trouble at the Belmomt taking place at Mondays' game.

.oh and I heard that Jim Ward is now the General Manager, with his own office to boot >:(
what, is this some form of tongue in cheek?? he does have an office, develop manager or something.
Waiting for when Nick gets the chop is what a few around me were saying.
Me I think Nick will turn it round as he has some very good players.

looks as if we had about 20 more than the first game, made up by Sittingbourne supporters. That means I suppose no extra Ram supporters?!! Not looking good.
What I can't understand is the fact that the prices have been dropped to £5 for seniors and £1 for unemployed and we still can't get the numbers! Is this due to non coverage in the press,or fixture posters not being printed( one for you there John).
Low crowds will mean not enough money coming through the gate on the day, which in turn mean budget cuts and we know what happens then!
Totally agree with the above post.............oh and I heard that Jim Ward is now the General Manager, with his own office to boot >:(

Why did we ever let Luke go!? ::)
Still don't have any faith in this new keeper.. Not looking good. Top five ? Not on this form!
Talking of Deal Town,I see that they got 20 more watching at their game, than we did today! :o
-
Total rubbish today against the Bourne.....carry on like this and we will be playing Deal Town next season >:(
-
With regard to a certain player "no longer with us", my money's on WJ-C.
He wasn't in the squad that travelled to Steyning yesterday and I noticed that he turned out for Punjab United again.
Is he on "dual reg", or has he gone?
-
good win, pity allowing them to get one back though
-
Looks as if we will have to wait until Zac does the squad pictures on or after Monday
-
re Saturday's game. Disappointed that one player not playing for the Rams anymore
Care to let us know who he is ?

Oh dear poor little Margate lost last night to Cray, Joe Taylor getting one of the goals. I noticed on their F/book page on Saturday one person was saying, poor little Ramsgate lost..............
-
I'm off to Herne Bay if I can get a lift, if not it's the Oyster Boys..........If you find that strange, well Whitstable Rail Stn is a five minute walk to the ground.............Herne Bay, 15-20 walk ;D
-
So,where are we all on Saturday coming? Anyone following the Rams?
Me, I'm off to either Herne Bay or the Oysters, both in the FA Cup. Can't make my mind up yet !
Anyone else having problems attaching smileys etc,or is it just me?
-
with all the new signings, with supposed some left since the list of June 21, we have 20 players??
I see one of the few that left, "TJ", scored for the Oysters on Saturday!
Typical ! >:(
Could have done with TJ in the midfield to give it some bite.

Two more signings today, one has left.........Have the Rams borrowed MFC's revolving door ;D
-
not too bad. Good work out I suppose as Toot is in a similar Div. 2 players sick, another off.
-
no
Thanks.
How did the Rams play on Saturday?
-
no
-
last I heard there is an U23, Will Graham is in charge. hope to see/hear more this Saturday
Oh, think most small clubs like ours, go for about 17 players (believe we had 20 or 21)
Are the under 23's being paid Bill?

think everyone knows that the squad should be about 17/18???
It's a fine line to play.
Admittedly,it saves the clubs' wage bill BUT we need to ask the following question.
As the reserve team no longer exists (as well as the U23s?),then is 17/18 enough? When you take the starting eleven and the 5 subs that travel,it doesn't leave enough,I feel, to cover the possibilities of people missing through injury, suspension, work and anything else that might crop up.
If we had a bigger squad,we could have at least kept them match fit by playing in the "stiffs". It would have also given enough new blood a chance to make their way into the first team, creating competition for places. No competition creates complacency!
If that's the boards' choice to reduce the squad, then so be it but we don't want to be losing games (in the hunt for promotion ;D),if we haven't got a good enough team to play on the day! :o

Crikey,you're keen Bill! ;D
PBB reckon the squad too big for the budget ? ;)
